Marie Hill Farmhouse
The Marie Hill Farmhouse has been welcoming guests to our special corner of the Green Mountain State for around 100 years. First built in 1810, this home truly is a unique piece of Vermont history. You'll fall in love with the two beautiful turrets, boasting ornate cedar shingle work and a semicircular porch that were added to the home around 1900. The turrets will not only catch your eye, but they also create 4 gorgeous bay windows in the 4 rooms on the front side of the house. Original stained glass windows accent the architecture and detail work on the outside of the home, and on a sunny day cast an array of color on the inside. "MARIE HILL FARM" is written with natural slate tiles on the gables of the home, a tribute to the wife of a wealthy butcher shop owner from NYC that owned the home through the turn of the twentieth century.
